Helpful and Distinctive
Writing, Editing and Training
How can I be helpful?
As a lap swimmer, I know that creativity blooms in short times away from a keyboard and that mental roadblocks are removed when one is wrapped in the sound of chlorinated bubbles.
Top-notch writing, editing, training and speaking depend on creativity and removing roadblocks, so please count me in to take your challenge for a spin around the keyboard or for some laps in the pool and deliver a finished product that not only becomes proof of my helpfulness, but a mirror of your complete satisfaction.
Writing
From my keyboard have come scripts, web copy, tag lines, brand names, articles, headlines, grant proposals, instructional and training materials, scripture devotionals, and strategically worded letters and emails.

Editing
Restoring or creating proper grammar, tone, structure, voice and readability from the draft work of others requires a thorough understanding of the purpose of the text, an eagle's eyes and timely, productive feedback. On my watch, television pilots, reports to federal agencies, web copy, resumes and memos to the team have been polished or rescued (or both).
Training
Training students in a classroom; national sales teams in hotel conference rooms; apprentice electricians gathered in a union hall; and adults on long-distance calls have provided the challenge and the satisfaction of helping others attain progress and mastery in academic writing, business communication, test preparation, leadership, and personal development.

Speaking
In front of hundreds in a stadium; center stage in an auditorium; behind the pulpit of a church; from all corners of a classroom; and eye-to-eye in a circle of community members, I have been repeatedly privileged to tackle the fascinating challenge of meeting, engaging and inspiring people I've never met.
